Phases Of Care

Patient care can vary from patient to patient.

We understand that there is not a one-size-fits all approach with patient care. Healing is influenced by both the individual and the specific tissues being treated, so recovery times can vary.

Healing happens in stages and is categorised by three phases. These three phases are designed to move you from pain relief to long term wellness.

Phase 1- Relief care

This is typically the starting point for care. If pain is present due to injury, postural strain, or stress on the body, the primary goal is to reduce discomfort efficiently and effectively. This phase focuses on relieving symptoms and stabilising the condition to restore function and mobility.

Phase 2- Corrective care

Once symptoms are managed, care progresses to correcting the structural and functional factors that contributed to the problem. This phase focuses on restoring alignment, improving joint mechanics, and strengthening supporting musculature. Corrective care plays an important role in preventing recurrence and promoting long-term spinal stability.

Phase 3- Wellness care

The Wellness phase is designed to support long-term spinal and nervous system health. Ongoing care helps maintain alignment, optimize movement, and reduce the risk of future dysfunction. This proactive approach supports overall wellness and quality of life.
